Srinagar: India tied the series with a seven-wicket victory against South Africa on Sunday in Ranchi. Shreyas Iyer struck his second century in an ODI, and the victory helped India equal the series.
Ishan Kishan was another outstanding performer, contributing 93 points out of 84 total. Kishan and Shreyas produced a mammoth 161-run combination to set up the chase for the team. Shreyas scored 113* off 111 with 15 fours.
Earlier, when stand-in captain Maharaj made the decision to bat, Markram and Reeza Hendricks put up a combination for the third wicket that scored 129 runs to put South Africa on a solid footing for the match. Markram had the highest score for them with 79, while Hendricks had the second-highest score with 74.
